Nationwide Looking for Agents in Texas

Nationwide is looking to add 100 new Advantage Program insurance agents in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio.

The insurer is looking for more people to serve as independent-contractor exclusive agents who will operate their own agency. Those selected also will have access to and benefit from a comprehensive training program at Nationwide’s nationally recognized training facility.

Nationwide offers products in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, employing more than 33,000 associates and more than 3,200 independent-contractor exclusive agents.

A recent discussion about agents’ futures in the industry has recently flared, with McKinsey releasing a report predicting an ebb in the relevance of agents, prompting the Big I, among others, to respond. For agents’ opinion on the matter, click here.

According to Nationwide, Advantage Program agents will be eligible to receive guaranteed supplemental investments from Nationwide as well as unlimited earnings potential based on agency performance.
