Navy Federal Financial Group Rolls Out Mobile Distribution Platform

Navy Federal Financial Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navy Federal Credit Union, has unveiled a new platform for life insurance distribution, the company announced today.

NFFG's new site allows users to compare and buy life insurance policies on a mobile-optimized site. Customers can also view educational videos before purchase and receive instant quotes.

"Our clients lead fast-paced lives—especially active duty folks who need to manage their lives from around the world," said Patricia Wood, COO of NFFG, in a statement. "This led us to create the new site. This site puts life insurance at their fingertips."

NFFG partnered with Navy Mutual Aid Association and 1ClickCoverage to provide insurance policies on its new platform, most of which are available for purchase with no medical exam. NFFG says shoppers can research, apply and buy a policy in about 10 minutes.

"Clients can always speak to an advisor if they have life insurance questions," said Wood. "But now they have the flexibility to educate themselves on-the-go and on their own time."
