NICB Elects Pierce as Chair of the Board of Governors

The National Insurance Crime Bureau, a not-for-profit organization that helps prevent, detect and defeat insurance fraud and vehicle theft, has elected Nancy Pierce of GEICO to a two-year term as chair of the board of governors.

Pierce, regional P&C VP for GEICO, has served on the board since 2008, most recently as vice chair. She replaces Kenneth Rosen, senior VP of claims at USAA, who has served as a board member since 2008 and as chair since 2011. He will remain on the board. Elected to the vice chair position was Michael Convery, VP and chief claim officer at MetLife Auto & Home Insurance. He has served on the board since 2009.

Other board members are David Bano, Nationwide Insurance; Rusty Beaty, Progressive; Kelly Bever, State Farm; Michael Capuzzi, Allstate; Steve Hatch, Zurich North America; Tom Kaschalk, Direct General; Douglas Menges, Mercury; Matthew Murphy, the Hartford; Michael Prandi, Westfield Group; Michael Randall, CSAA; James Runnels, Enterprise Holdings; Mark Russell, Grange Insurance; Nicholas Seminara, Travelers; and Michael Stapleton, CNA.
