Nino Tarantino joins telematics provider IMS

Nino Tarantino has been named CEO of IMS, a North American arm of the telematics company Trak Global Group.

Tarantino is a veteran of the sector. His last position was as CEO of Octo Telematics Americas, a company he worked at for seven years.

Trak Global is based in London, but acquired the Waterloo, Ontario-based IMS in a move to get into the North American market. In the UK, its Carrot Insurance is targeted at young drivers.
