NSM Insurance Acquires AFPD

NSM Insurance Group, a commercial P&C insurance services firm specializing in the development and implementation of industry-specific programs, has acquired AFPD, a program administrator for lawyers’ and dentists’ E&O programs.

AFPD is a member of the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices Ltd. (NAPSLO) and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), according to NSM, who notes that their products and services are distributed through a network of independent agents and brokers around the country.

"Attorneys and dentists need efficient and comprehensive protection against the damaging effects professional liability claims can have on their finances and reputation. We bring years of experience underwriting and claims management for these specialty classes."
