Patriot Underwriters Names Turner as President

Patriot National Insurance Group has named Richard G. Turner as president of its subsidiary, Patriot Underwriters Inc. Turner previously served as EVP of Patriot National Insurance Group and will retain those responsibilities. He will oversee Patriot National's managing general agency, program administration and business process outsourcing.

"Since joining us in May 2007, Rich has brought a wealth of experience to Patriot,” said Steven Michael Mariano, CEO and chairman of Patriot National Insurance Group. “His extensive background, strong leadership, and accomplishments make him the natural choice to lead the organization."

Before joining Patriot National, Turner was SVP, Lexington of American International Group. He also held leadership positions at Liberty Mutual, Mutual Risk Management, and served as president of Commonwealth Risk Services. He is a graduate of Dickinson College and Drexel University.
