Brian Griffith will join QBE North America as executive vice president of field management and distribution on August 31, and will lead the strategy for all distribution channels across QBE, including major and regional trading partner engagement in the United States. Griffith will report to Mark Cantin, president, field operations for QBE North America.
Griffith is a proven P&C executive with a strong underwriting background and a track record of driving profitable growth, QBE said. He began his career with The Hartford 22 years ago as an underwriter and has advanced into senior leadership roles, including strategy development, national head of sales and marketing, and most recently, P&L leader of the Northeast division.
"Brian's addition to the leadership team at QBE demonstrates our commitment to effectively engage our distribution channels," Cantin said. "As we develop the Field Operations organization, we will put the operational underpinnings in place to ensure that the customer is always front and center of everything we do."
Griffith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
