Questar Capital,a subsidiary of Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America, named Amy Halverson as director of field development. Halverson now executes marketing strategies for branding, sales events and collateral. She is the key communicator between Questar and financial professionals in the field.
Questar said Halverson is responsible for recruiting, creating strategic sales plans and disseminating communications, reporting to the president of Questar, Kevin Bachmann. Before joining Allianz Life, Halverson worked at Woodbury Financial Services Inc. from 2008 through 2012. Most recently, she was chief of staff in the sales and distribution area. Halverson was also an assistant director with Woodbury Financial.
Prior, Halverson was a manager in annuity operations with The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., said Questar. She also was an annuity operations manager with Allianz Life in 2005. She held various insurance roles with State Farm Insurance offices from 1998 to 2005. Halverson has life and health insurance licenses in multiple states, is a Chartered Life Underwriter, and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.
