Carolyn Snow will lead RIMS, a risk management society, as president for the 2014 term. Snow has been a member of RIMS for 14 years and on the board of directors for seven years, RIMS said. Snow previously has served as the society’s treasurer, secretary and director of external affairs. She is a member of RIMS’ Kentuckiana/Bluegrass Chapter.
Officers on the RIMS 2014 board of directors include Snow, CPCU, director, risk management, Humana Inc.; VP Richard Roberts Jr., corporate risk manager, Ensign-Bickford Industries Inc.; Treasurer, Julie Pemberton, director, enterprise risk and insurance management, Outerwall Inc.; and Corporate Secretary, Nowell Seaman, director global risk management, Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc.
New board members include Gloria Brosius, director, risk management and insurance programs, Farm Credit Council Services Inc.; Steve Pottle, director, risk management services, York University; Jennifer Santiago; director of insurance, Novartis Corp.; Janet Stein, director, risk management and insurance, University of Calgary, RIMS said.
Incumbent board members include Gordon Adams, Tri-Marine International Inc.; Robert Cartwright Jr., Bridgestone Retail Operations; Al Gorski, Orange County Transportation Authority; Leslie Lamb, Cisco Systems Inc.; John Phelps, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Inc.; Michael Phillipus, Occidental Petroleum Corp.; Frederick Savage, Chevron Corp.; and Lori Seidenberg, Centerline Capital Group, RIMS added.
