RLI Uses Voltage to Secure PII Data

Palo Alto, Calif. — RLI, a specialty insurance company based in Peoria, Ill., will use security technology from Voltage, a provider of encryption technology, to protect critical customer information that is received from its business partners and stores at RLI.

Voltage Security, a vendor of information encryption technology, reports that
“At RLI we take data security very seriously,” says Bruce Peifer, information security analyst at RLI. “Our goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and business partners when it comes to securing data stored within our databases.”

Sathvik Krishnamurthy, president and CEO of Voltage Security Inc., says, “Voltage SecureData provides an extremely compelling value proposition because we protect the information in your database with minimal changes to the underlying legacy database. This means our customers can implement protection dramatically faster, and with much lower expenses than other options.”

RLI’s Peifer adds, “We needed a solution that protects information securely and can be deployed rapidly, with as little impact as possible to the existing environment. We started talking to Voltage, did a competitive evaluation and were up and running within six weeks.”
