SafeAuto Selects InsuranceSuite

SafeAuto Insurance Co., a P&C insurer that provides direct-to-consumer auto insurance, has selected InsuranceSuite to support the transformation of its core operations, including underwriting, policy administration, rating, billing and claims management. InsuranceSuite is a product of Guidewire Software Inc., a provider of core system software to P&C insurers.

SafeAuto replaced its legacy core underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management systems, says Guidewire, in order to get new products to market faster, provide quicker customer service, and focus IT efforts on implementing new capabilities.

Guidewire says InsuranceSuite will enable SafeAuto to increase flexibility and reduce maintenance time and costs; access more accurate and granular data through PolicyCenter; add new business rules and workflows without the burden of source code customization; and integrate with external partners and suppliers for a streamlined insurance experience.
