Security Life Insurance Co. of America, an ancillary insurance benefits company, has promoted Gina Dague and Dan Labezius. Dague has been promoted to VP of underwriting and was formerly AVP of underwriting. Labezius has been promoted to AVP of operations from his former role as operations manager.
Dague brings more than 18 years of underwriting experience at Security Life to her new position. She has been involved in initiatives impacting how the company prices products and maintains competitiveness and profitability. In May 2012, she acquired underwriting leadership for all of the company’s products, including the GemStar, PrimeStar and Premier Choice product lines.
Labezius joined Security Life in 1997 and has held various positions focused on operations, customer service and training. In his new role as AVP, he will continue to lead the management of claims, customer service and fulfillment activities. Labezius helped consolidate Security Life’s operational offices during the last two years.
