Selective Insurance Company of America has chosen Insurity, Inc.’s Claims Decisions software to modernize its operations.
The system, which will be hosted by Insurity in-house, will support thousands of claims filed by of Selective users each year. Implementation is projected to increase effectiveness for claims adjusters, reduce exposure to regulatory inconsistencies and streamline processing through automation and better integration with third parties.
“At Selective, we are committed to delivering timely, responsive and effective claim services,” said George Neale, executive vice president and chief claims officer at Selective, in a press release. “Insurity is forward thinking in its product plan for a more modern claim system that will effectively support these principles.”
As part of the agreement, Selective is also set to receive Insurity’s mobile services, widget based navigation as well as regulatory integration through software provider Wolters Kluwer. Insurity’s new Legal Matter Management module, currently under development, is also included in the deal.
