Sircon Promotes Owen to VP of Product Management

Okemos, Mich. — Sircon Corp. announced that Tim Owen has been promoted to VP of product management. Owen’s responsibilities include product management, market segmentation analysis, definition of product requirements and uncovering untapped growth opportunities for Sircon.

Owen will be responsible for leading product management across Sircon’s carrier, agency and broker customer segments as well as enhancing product management processes companywide.

Owen joined Sircon in 1997 as a product development manager, and was responsible for leading the development of Sircon’s early compliance solutions for insurance carriers. Owen later joined the sales team as a sales engineer before settling into his most recent role as director of product management. Owen has been involved directly in the sale and support of Sircon’s products for more than 200 carriers and agencies over his decade-long career.
 
Prior to joining Sircon, Owen served as VP of Web services for Polyphasic, Inc., and also as a manager for Ernst & Young LLP, where he headed the migration of a foreign-exchange trading system for a global banking group.
