Skywire Software Names Karl Schultz CIO

Skywire Software, a leading provider of enterprise software, announced today that it has named Karl Schultz as the company's new chief information officer.  Schultz most recently served on the company's executive team as Sr. Vice President, Software Development.  Schultz will be responsible for leading the development of the company's products, delivering on successful customer engagements, and overseeing the company's information technology operations.

Schultz joined Skywire Software in March 2003 following the company's acquisition of Attenza, a leading provider of Web-based customer support and knowledge management software. At Attenza, Schultz served as the chief technology officer where he was responsible for leading the design and development of the Answer Suite product that is being used today by industry leaders like Dell, BMC Software, and Aon Corporation.  Previously, Schultz was a technology manager for Tactica (now Hitachi Consulting) and worked in the health care, travel, and financial services industries on a variety of large-scale enterprise software systems.

Schultz holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University.
