SSP, provider of insurance technology in the UK, and Capgemini, a consulting, technology and outsourcing services company, have partnered to help insurers replace legacy systems and accelerate their digital ambitions, the companies said.
The relationship is intended to leverage Capgemini’s insurance experience as a systems integrator and process-improvement expert to bring SSP’s Select Insurance platform and distribution/data services to insurers operating in the UK personal-lines market.
“Flexibility and the ability to provide a consistent experience to customers across all channels is more important than ever,” said Stephen Lathrope, managing director of insurer at SSP. “We are delighted to be working with Capgemini to add to our ability to create innovative digital insurance solutions for our customers, and to accelerate the pace with which we are able to help them to realize these ambitions.”
SSP Select Insurance platform offers a combination of underwriting, policy administration and claims functionality, coupled with multichannel distribution designed to support direct interactions with customers as well as through aggregators, brokers or affinity partners, and via PC, smart phones or tablets.
