Swiss Re says that, under the terms of the agreement, as of April 1, 2012, its Corporate Solutions began using RSA's global network for servicing U.S.-headquartered clients with Swiss Re single-carrier property insurance internationally. Swiss Re is creating a solution to write business globally for U.S.-based companies.
RSA has the capability to write business in more than 150 countries, says Swiss Re, adding that RSA’s global network provides local policy issuance, premium collection, claims service and loss prevention services. RSA supports multinational programs as well.
Swiss Re says the partnership will enable international and domestic single-carrier property coverage to be offered under one program. The enterprise is consistent with Swiss Re’s strategy to focus on the U.S. middle and upper-middle markets – a key growth initiative for Corporate Solutions.
