The company’s first mobile compliance solution, the company said, required that the user download software to the device and manually send text messages to TextGuard for storing. With the new program, the application is installed once on the Blackberry Enterprise Server and messages are automatically captured and sent to TextGuard.
TextGuard cited this new program as vital to industries such as financial sector and government because of their obligation to keep records of electronically stored communication. The company warned that failure for industry compliance can result in fines or loss of license.
