The new software will first be implemented in the commerical package book before being expanded to other lines of business. The Hanover also will use Insurity services to support the monitoring, analyzing, interpreting and integrating bureau content.

“Insurity will help us provide a more robust and integrated product development approach, ensuring speed to market, and enhance our agency partners’ user experience through convenience, simplicity and efficiency," says Michael Keane, SVP and president of small commercial lines for the company.

The Hanover announced a new corporate innovation initiative earlier this year, which included combining its small commercial, middle market and personal lines businesses into one division, Hanover Agency Markets. Chief technology innovation officer Mark Berthiaume said that as part of the "Hanover 2021" intitiative, the company "will rely heavily on partnerships and licensing arrangements to better enable speed to market and to manage cost effectively."
