The Hilb Group Acquires Venture Specialty Insurance

The Hilb Group LLC has acquired Venture Specialty Insurance, a provider of specialized insurance solutions, effective September 1. Jason Angus, founder and president of Venture Specialty, will continue as president of that company and will assume the role of chief marketing officer for Hilb Group, effective with the closing of the transaction.

Hilb Group says the Venture Special transaction is the first completed under Hilb’s new ownership structure with BHMS Investments LP.
