Travelers Responds to Agents’ Requests for Easier, Faster Processes

After obtaining feedback from its agencies across the country, Travelers expanded its bond and financial products technology platform by building Travelers Click. The platform is designed to simplify the online process of purchasing and issuing commercial surety bonds for agents and brokers.

“The feedback from our agencies was very clear: make this process easier and faster,” said George Thompson, SVP, commercial surety, travelers bond and financial products. “Travelers Click introduces easy navigation, smart technology and resources necessary for issuing a surety bond quickly and efficiently.”

Using the platform, many agents are now issuing bonds in about four minutes, which is approximately five to 10 minutes faster than current systems they use, Thompson said.

Some of the features include:

• The platform was designed to be intuitive enough for customer service and surety professionals to navigate the platform without the need for additional training.

• Information added to Travelers Click is automatically saved so users do not need to re-enter it.

• Users have access to a variety of resources such as an extensive bond forms library, agency underwriting authority by bond type and rate calculators, the insurer said.

• Travelers Click is designed to be flexible enough to meet the evolving needs of users.
