UniGroup has implemented Duck Creek Technologies to manage and automate its claims operations, the company announced today.

With its new platform, the transportation and relocation services company aims to increase efficiencies around its cargo loss reporting within its businesses, including United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit, UniGroup Logistics and UniGroup Worldwide.

Additionally, Duck Creek’s claims technology will enable UniGroup’s agents and employees to process claims using an online system, reducing claim-handling time and enhancing customer engagement, the companies said.

“We want to be able to conduct business anywhere our services are needed,” said UniGroup Vice President Bob McCabe, in a statement. “Having a claims system that can scale with our growth is vital to delivering the customer experience required to remain successful wherever we operate.”
