Unum is offering a collection of tactical guides to health care reform designed to help employers understand and prepare for shifting requirements, choices and needs. The guides also offer employers advice on a total benefits strategy, including financial protection benefits and a communication plan.
Unum says the materials include a health care reform roadmap; a podcast; and an updated health care reform website. The company has taken an active role in helping employers evaluate the full effects of health care reform on their benefits and their businesses. Health care reform already is influencing the benefits decisions of companies and Americans, and the impact will grow when the law’s most significant provisions kick in, in 2014.
