USAA hires Wells Fargo vet to lead data, analytics

USAA has hired Ramnik Bajaj as SVP and chief data and analytics officer.

Bajaj is responsible for data and analytics architecture and governance for the company, reporting to chief adminstrative officer Andrew Walker. He last was EVP and head of data environment and transformation at Wells Fargo, where he established data management policy and strategy, and oversaw enterprise analytics and data science

"We conducted an extensive search to find the right leader to continue our data journey; with his strategic mindset and ability to bring simplicity and structure to complex environments, I'm confident that Ramnik will be a tremendous asset in leading USAA's data modernization efforts."
