With the app, USAA members can manage a wide range of financial transactions, such as viewing their insurance policies, paying bills, transferring funds, placing trades and getting real-time stock quotes. Members also can add or replace a car on their auto insurance policies and request an ID card. Additionally, the app delivers free financial advice in the form of stories and videos customized for the iPad.
"The USAA App for iPad is different from the USAA iPhone App," says USAA President and CEO Joe Robles. "We rethought and rebuilt the interactions and experiences from the ground up, specifically for the iPad and specifically for our members."
The USAA App for iPad is free to download. In the first five days, USAA says the app has more than 34,000 downloads, a five-star rating, and is the No. 1 financial app and the No. 8 free app in the Apple App Store.
