Through a partnership with Liazon, operator of the Bright Choices Exchange, USI Insurance Services, a national benefits broker and consultant, has launched a private insurance exchange to help clients manage their employee benefits.
With the Bright Choices Exchange platform, USI expects its clients to have an additional tool to transition to a defined contribution funding strategy and personalize their benefits package.
“USI is offering a private exchange option with plan designs and consumer-engagement tools,” said Michael Sicard, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of USI. “We will be integrating the Bright Choices Exchange with our extensive set of solutions to help consumers and the employers who help subsidize their choices better control costs as the Affordable Care Act plays out in the commercial market.”
