Western National Insurance Group, a group of seven P&C insurance companies, has chosen SNL iPartners’ business intelligence and data warehousing solution, Insurance Scorecard. SNL iPartners, a division of SNL Financial, offers P&C insurance business analytics solutions.
The Insurance Scorecard business intelligence and data warehouse solution is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application designed specifically for the P&C industry. The suite offers a data warehouse, performance management dashboards and scorecards, ad-hoc detailed analysis, production reporting, and drill to detail. SNL iPartners is seeing a market opportunity as insurers opt to deal with legacy data first and consolidating and using data to derive short-term value from legacy systems as they prepare for the implementation of new core systems. The time-to-value implementation is less than six months, the company said.

The implementation of the SNL iPartners solution will enable Western National to enhance its use of actionable data. Anticipated benefits from the implementation of SNL iPartners’ solution include the automated consolidation of Western National’s commercial and personal lines data; a common business view of the data for easier access, reporting and analysis; self-service, user-driven reporting for improved and more frequent management reporting; and a data and reporting environment to help expand data management.
