Digital Insurance is accepting nominations for our annual Women in Insurance Leadership Awards. Since its inception in 2005, the program has honored more than 80 transformative women leaders whose vision and dedication have driven the success of insurance companies across the industry.

As the insurtech revolution continues to upend industry norms the award’s core values of performance, service and innovation are more resonant than ever, as women play essential roles in bringing the industry into its connected future.

Honorees are selected in confidential deliberations by a committee of former WIL honorees, overseen by the editors of Digital Insurance. The committee evaluates quantitative and qualitative aspects of an individual's performance, as well as her overall influence on the institution, the industry and the community in which she lives and works. They assess each candidate’s performance based on job complexity, contribution to the institution's top and bottom lines, brand equity/shareholder value creation, corporate governance and ethics, management style and level of community involvement.

Each year’s honorees are profiled on the Digital Insurance website, and in a special print edition of Digital Insurance. They are also celebrated at the annual Women in Insurance Leadership Forum (more info to come soon), where successful innovators, from all lines of business and enterprise operations, will share their insights on tech disruption, regulatory change and promoting diversity in upper management.
