Petersmark will serve as a liaison between X by 2 and CIOs at current and prospective clients, discussing their biggest challenges and serving as a sounding board and advisor as they navigate possible technology and business solutions.

Petersmark began his insurance career at Alexander Hamilton Life Insurance Co. In 1998 he was named CIO and VP with Amerisure, where he built a track record for innovative solutions, execution and delivery.
Petersmark led Amerisure’s implementation of a completely virtualized desktop infrastructure. CIO magazine named Amerisure a winner of its “2010 CIO 100 Award” for that project.
He also spearheaded Amerisure’s business process-management and enterprise project-management capabilities, and created an innovation center in the company to establish and foster creativity throughout the organization.
Besides various insurance and executive training certifications, Petersmark holds a bachelor’s degree from Madonna University and a master’s degree in European History from Wayne State University. He is working on his Ph.D. in European History at Wayne State.
