Zurich North America, a commercial P&C insurer, has named Sabrina Hart as regional executive for the Midwest region in marketing, distribution and regional management (MD&RM).
Hart’s new position is effective Oct. 16, and her office will be in Chicago. She will lead the Zurich Regional Leadership Team in achieving profitability and growth targets for the Midwest region.

Hart also will be responsible for leading the Midwest MD&RM staff with new and renewal business, and customer and distribution strategies. She will work directly with select brokers to offer insurance and risk management applications for the company's Midwest customers.
For the last three years, Hart has been Zurich's chief underwriting officer in global corporate in North America, having joined Zurich in 1997. She was recently named to Business Insurance's 2013 Women to Watch. She also earned a 2013 Women in Insurance Leadership Award from Insurance Networking News.
