Since 2006, INN's Women in Insurance Leadership program has honored the extraordinary accomplishments of more than 60 professionals whose leadership and performance have redefined the insurance business and its application of technology. Today, nine more names, as well as the program’s first-ever repeat winner, are added to the distinguished list.

For the first time in the program’s history, INN names a repeat winner: Allstate’s Patricia Coffey — who was VP of Protection Technology the first time — was selected in 2007 for leading a Web services solution development project. This year, in her new role with the insurer, she’s recognized for simplifying financial systems, automating procurement processes and boosting Allstate’s analytics capabilities, among other achievements.
In-depth profiles of all 10 WIL winners will be featured online at www.insurancenetworking.com and published in INN’s October/November 2013 edition.
Winners also will be recognized at INN’s 6th Annual Women in Insurance Leadership Forum, which will be held on Oct. 29-30, 2013, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chicago. Eileen McDonnell, Chairman, President and CEO of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. — one of only two Fortune 1000 insurance companies that are led by female CEOs — will keynote the event.
