AIG hires BlackRock exec as digital, operations chief

Claude Wade will join AIG as EVP, global head of operations and chief digital officer in the second quarter of this year, the company announced.

Wade comes to AIG from BlackRock, where he was global head of client experience and head of the company's Atlanta innovation hub. He also has worked for Marsh and Guy Carpenter along with now-AIG CEO Peter Zaffino, to whom he will report in his new role.

Claude is a proven executive with operational, digital and insurance expertise, as well as a track record of delivering sustained profitability improvement.”
