Aon eSolutions, Aon Corp.’s technology solutions business, and Mitchell International, a solutions provider to the property/casualty and auto collision repair industries, have partnered to create a claims and medical bill review system for the workers’ compensation industry.
The companies cited managing claims and controlling rising medical costs as “key challenges” to the workers’ compensation industry, and said these problems are worsened by having separate claims and bill review systems.
Through the agreement, Aon will integrate Mitchell’s SmartAdvisor bill review solution with its iVOS claims technology solution in an effort to help “streamline operations, increase transaction speed and accuracy, enhance productivity, improve medical and administrative savings, and facilitate compliance,” the companies say.
