Cabinet NG Announces Award Winners

Cabinet NG (CNG), a provider of document management and workflow management software, announced the recipients of its “iNGie” awards, the first customer award to recognize that going green is good for businesses.

The awards were presented at CNG’s annual Collaborate Conference in October in Huntsville, Ala., and winners were selected based on overall reduction of paper consumption and adoption of electronic workflow in four different categories.

Best Overall Reduction of Paper Consumption category

The winner of the small business category (up to five users) was Capital Assets Planning Inc., a Vienna, Va.-based registered investment advisor firm that, in under a year, digitized more than 60,000 pages and shredded more than 1,700 pounds of their archived documents with CNG’s document management solution, says CNG.

CHG says the winner of the general business category (six or more users) was Maya Assurance Co., an auto insurance company headquartered in Long Island, N.Y., that needed to maintain compliance and tackle the need to retain documents without consuming prized real estate.

Best Adoption of Electronic Workflow category

The winner of the small business category (up to five users) was Pinkstaff, Simpson, Hall Headrick P.C., a Knoxville, Tenn.-based certified public accounting firm that is in charge of the bookkeeping for several SONIC Drive-In franchises, says CNG.

CNG says the winner of the general business category (six or more users) was Habilitative Services Inc., a Minnesota-based company that provides outcome-based services, including developing, maintaining or restoring skills; modifying the environment; and using adaptive technology.

iNGie award winners received an iPad, recognition at the 2010 Collaborate Conference dinner, and a $1,000 credit that can be applied toward annual maintenance of CNG products, says CNG.
