CNA Joins NICB

Des Plaines, Ill. — CNA has recently joined the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). As a member, Chicago-based CNA and its policyholders will have access to NICB’s national network of special agent investigators, field and headquarters analytical support, online and in-person training opportunities, legislative analysis and advocacy and public awareness programs and materials.

"CNA is committed to a strong fraud identification and prevention program," says Tim Wolfe, CNA director of special investigations. "Partnering with an organization of the NICB's stature will expand our capabilities. We'll be better able to identify our exposure to fraud schemes already detected by other member companies, provide additional clout with prosecutorial agencies, and supplement our existing data analytics program by providing additional resources and expertise."

“After nearly 100 years of service to the property/casualty industry, the NICB has built a reputation of investigative excellence and member support through the dedication of its employees,” says Judith Fitzgerald, NICB SVP, member and government affairs. “The NICB is most pleased to welcome CNA with its impressive record of accomplishment as its latest member company. CNA’s legacy of service and success is a perfect match with the NICB’s performance and vision.”
