CSC Expands International Presence

CSC is expanding its global network of business process service centers for insurance, annuities and pensions to extend business process outsourcing (BPO) services to Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

CSC says it currently provides business process services to more than 100 financial services firms from centers in the United States, South Africa, India and Vietnam, processing policies, contracts and loans. According to CSC, it will deliver services to multinational and domestic insurers in the new regions, as part of its overall initiative to offer full insurance administration lifecycle support services in new and emerging markets.

CSC has hired Josy Fung to head business process services operations for CSC’s Financial Services Group in Asia. Fung is responsible for establishing the new centers and overseeing service delivery. Prior to CSC, Fung served in various executive positions at Manulife Financial in Hong Kong, managing business process operations in the region.
