Los Angeles — Farmers Insurance Group received the "Sammy Award" and five other top awards at the Insurance Marketing Communication Association's (IMCA) Annual Meeting and Showcase Awards in Newport, R.I. The Showcase Awards are given for creative excellence in insurance advertising.

"Farmers is proud to have been awarded for the third year in a row, the prestigious Sammy Award for its "Level 5" advertising campaign," says Cora Barran, advertising manager for Farmers and 2007 IMCA President. "The Sammy is the special award voted by IMCA members and presented each year to one company's entry that conveys the insurance industry's dedication to its consumers."

Farmers also took three Awards of Excellence and two Best of Show awards out of a collection of 431 submitted by 67 companies this year.
