Fremont Insurance has gone live with workers’ compensation using the BindExpress Policy Suite from SpeedBuilder Systems Inc., a provider of software and services for the insurance industry. The product is the eighth commercial line the company has added in the last 20 months.

SpeedBuilder says the BindExpress Suite allows internal underwriters and external agents to process all insurance transactions—from new business quotes, to out-of-sequence and two-term endorsements—on a web-based platform. Also, with more than 2,000 configuration options, BindExpress allows carriers to setup and edit most any function, adjusting quickly as market needs change.

“We started this project in mid-December,” says Dave Mangin, CIO of Fremont Insurance Co. “As with other lines, configuring workers compensation on BindExpress was relatively easy. In addition, the new ‘rate-as-you-go’ technology gives Fremont yet another leg up on the competition, demonstrated by the positive feedback from our agents, and our continuing, profitable growth.”
