Guidette Appointed XL Director of Communications

New York – Christopher Guidette has been appointed director of communications for XL Capital Ltd., a provider of global insurance and reinsurance coverages, in the Americas. In this role, Guidette will be responsible for planning and executing internal and external strategic communications.
 
Guidette’s experience in communications spans 25 years, and ranges from journalism to public relations in both the private and public sector. Following his tenure as city editor of The New Brunswick Home News-Tribune, he became the director of communications for the New Jersey General Assembly. He moved to the corporate sector supporting Prudential Insurance Co.’s nationwide campaign to reform civil justice. Guidette later joined Insurance Services Office Inc. and became head of corporate communications.
