Hannover Re US has announced a partnership with Ladder, a California-based startup offering online life insurance distribution software.
The initiative provides Hannover Re US' customers with an alternative to purchasing life policies without having to contact an agent. Full benefits of the partnership will be realized in the coming months when Ladder rolls out its initial platform, the companies said. No further details about the launch have been disclosed.

"As the industry continues to move toward tech-savvy consumers, we will continue to develop market-leading solutions to support agile underwriting, improved risk selection, and a better consumer experience."
