Specialist insurer Hiscox has selected the Sapiens IDIT Software Suite as a common platform for its global retail insurance businesses. The suite is a product of Sapiens International Corp., a provider of software solutions for the insurance industry. The platform will include policy administration, claims and billing.
The Sapiens IDIT is intended to boost Hiscox’s ability to respond to the industry’s rapid rate of change, Hiscox said. Hiscox selected Sapiens IDIT for its technology and functional capabilities to the company’s business needs, according to Sapiens.
Sapiens IDIT will serve as the common platform for retail insurance business, Sapiens said. The implementation of Sapiens IDIT also is intended to help Hiscox offer more positive customer experiences across all channels, increase speed to market by applying system changes and enabling responses to market opportunities and changing market conditions, and reduce total cost of ownership.
