INN Announces 2011 Women in Insurance Leadership Call for Nominations

Insurance Networking News (INN) has issued a “call for nominations” for its 2011 Women in Insurance Leadership (WIL) program. Every year, WIL honors 10 female insurance executives who have made a significant impact on their business.

The top six Honorees, along with four “Notable Achievers,” will be featured in a special report published with INN’s September/October 2011 print issue. Winners will be formally recognized at the fourth annual Women in Insurance Leadership Forum on Sept. 18-19, 2011, in National Harbor, Md. The event will take place in conjunction with the IASA Executive Edge conference.

Since its debut six years ago, INN's Women in Insurance Leadership program has profiled the extraordinary accomplishments of more than 40 professionals whose leadership and performance has redefined the insurance business and its application of technology.

Nominations are judged by previous Women in Insurance Leadership winners in a process that embraces both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the nominee's performance, as well as her overall influence on her institution, and on the industry and community in which she lives and works.

INN is looking forward to bringing another 10 leaders into the growing WIL family,” says Carrie Burns, INN editor and WIL program manager. “Profiling these women and how they have positively affected critical processes within their companies is among the most inspiring work our editors do each year.”
