In recognition of the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, Insurance Networking News remembers the achievements of its Women in Insurance Leadership past honorees.
Since its inception six years ago, INN's presentation of the most influential women in insurance has profiled the extraordinary accomplishments of 42 individuals whose pursuit of leadership and professional performance has fostered a positive influence that is redefining the way business and technology functions within the insurance industry.

“At the Forum, our official awards ceremony will recognize and honor 10 individual women based on the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the nominee's performance, as well as her overall influence on the institution, the industry and the community in which she lives and works,” notes Carrie Burns, INN’s editor and WIL program manager.
A call for nominations will be published in early May.
Six top candidates, along with four “notable achievers,” will also be featured in a special report published with INN’s September/October 2011 print issue.
“The Forum’s theme is ‘Adapting to a Changing Landscape,’” says Pat Speer, INN’s editor-in-chief and chair of the 2011 Forum. “Women who attend the Forum will be able to interact with top-ranking female insurance executives who will share their success stories, and develop their own unique professional action plan that puts them at the center of their success.”
