Kahal Joins AXA Equitable as National Sales Manager

New York — David Kahal has joined AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co., a provider of life insurance and annuity products and services for the financial services market, as national sales manager for its life insurance wholesale organization headquartered in Farmington, Conn.

Kahal is responsible for leading the wholesale distribution, sales and business development of AXA Equitable life insurance products to AXA Advisors LLC, the company's retail network. His focus is on helping AXA Advisors financial professionals grow their business through life insurance product education, coaching, sales support and service. He leads a team of 11 wholesalers.

The appointment marks a return to AXA for Kahal. He previously spent close to eight years as a district manager and financial professional with AXA Advisors. From 1998 to 2003, he was a national sales manager, during which time he piloted the company's initial life insurance wholesaling efforts.
