Lockton Builds Analytics Talent with Former Liberty Mutual Exec

Insurance broker Lockton is stepping up its analytics game with two major appointments.

Justin VanOpdorp has been elevated to the position of chief analytics officer, a first for the company. VanOpdorp has been with Lockton since 2006 and helped build the P&C analytics practice. Responsible for business intelligence and analytics, VanOpdorp also has worked for GE Insurance Solutions, Fireman’s Fund, and Milliman.

In addition, Mark Moitosojoins the company as SVP and analytics practice leader after a 25-year career at Liberty Mutual Insurance. He is charged with providing actionable advice to P&C clients on their insurance programs and claims. At Liberty, he was last EVP and GM of national accounts.
