Mantelli to Lead New Jackson National Life Team

Denver — Jackson National Life Insurance Co. (Jackson) has strategically realigned the National Accounts group within Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) in order to identify additional avenues for growth in the bank and regional broker-dealer channels, and expand Jackson’s presence among the company’s existing accounts.

Doug Mantelli, formerly VP of marketing strategy for JNLD, was selected to serve as VP of the newly formed Business Development team, which will focus on developing new bank and regional broker/dealer relationships in support of the company’s annuity and mutual fund distribution efforts.

Jennifer Seamount, JNLD VP, National Accounts, will lead the group’s internal support team, which is responsible for group operations, conferences, due diligence and reporting.

JNLD Senior VP of National Accounts, Paul Fitzgerald, will oversee the group, which also includes eight key account managers, whose primary goal is to increase penetration within Jackson’s existing accounts.

Mantelli joined Jackson in 2002 as a director for national sales development. Most recently, he was responsible for driving the company’s annuity and mutual fund marketing efforts, supporting all distribution channels. Prior to joining Jackson, he launched Mantelli Financial Press, through which he published a monthly financial newsletter and wrote shareholder communications for financial institutions.

Previously, Mantelli served as assistant VP for USBancorp Fund Services, and also held positions with third-party mutual fund consultant The Wadsworth Group and Lipper Inc.
