MetLife and Prudential Leaders Receive Re:Gender Trailblazer Award

Terry Albarella, VP, information systems at Prudential Financial Inc., and Maria R. Morris, EVP, global employee benefits integration at MetLife, were presented with the Re:Gender Trailblazer Award. Re:Gender was formerly known as The National Council for Research on Women.

The Trailblazer Awards are presented to those recognized for their work in advancing gender equity, Re:Gender said. The award was given to 19 individuals for their work in advancing gender equity.

The awards were presented in March at a Re:Gender awards dinner in New York City, Re:Gender said. CNN correspondent and anchor Rosa Flores hosted the awards dinner, which celebrated individuals who have “sparked lasting change for gender equity.” During the ceremony, The National Council for Research on Women announced that it had changed its name to Re:Gender, and the organization revealed its new logo and tagline, “research. rethink. reframe.”
