American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association has selected Software AG’s NaturalONE technology to increase customer engagement and upgrade its mobile and web applications.
To do this, Software AG partnered with IT firm MetroStar Systems, which helped modernize and develop mobile access for customers. Additionally, MetroStar upgraded AAFMAA’s mainframe applications. The change ensures the military insurer of more than 90,000 clients will not have to replace core systems, just enhance it with a new look while reducing costs.
“Our goals were to optimize current investments, significantly modernize our systems and website, provide access from any mobile device, and reduce costs,” said Amarish Pathak, AAFMAA’s chief information officer, in a press release. “In essence, we wanted to make it even easier for our members to access, select and manage the most competitive insurance and financial solutions available to them. I’m delighted to say that we achieved this and reduced our costs and provided a new self-service offering via web and mobile devices to our members.”
