Moser to Join New York Life's Board of Directors

New York — New York Life Insurance Co. announced that S. Thomas Moser, a vice chairman of KPMG LLP, will join the New York Life board following his retirement from KPMG in February 2008. Moser will join the board's Insurance and Operations Committee.
 
Currently, Moser is vice chairman of KPMG LLP, the U.S. member firm of KPMG International, which offers audit, tax and advisory serves to clients in the financial services, consumer products, government, healthcare and technology industries. He joined KPMG in 1970, became an audit partner, and held positions of increasing responsibility including national and global leader for the high technology and consumer and industrial industry practices, member of the board of directors, vice chairman - industries, and vice chairman - strategy.
