Mutual Assurance Society of Virginia has selected ISCS' cloud-based software, SurePower Innovation, to replace its 40-year-old core admin system.

SurePower will provide Mutual Assurance with a modern tech platform that more than just automatizes policy, billing and claims services. With it, the residential property insurer can more easily handle insurance accounting, payables and agent/consumer portals, among other areas, according to the companies.

"Implementing the SurePower Innovation suite gives us the opportunity to build on our past by offering our member policyholders and agent partners even better service through a modern online experience and more efficient service requests,” said Jeff Wrobel, president and CEO of Mutual Assurance, in a press release.

By adopting ISCS’ technology, the Richmond-based company will cut the costs of maintaining its old legacy system, which was difficult to customize and largely incapable of adhering to client needs. The change in software aims to improve both internal efficiency and the overall experience for the policyholder. SurePower Innovation will be implemented through ISCS’ SurePackage deployment option.
